Rates vary depending on the type of services offered and are in the typical range for mental health services in central Pennsylvania. Ask for details when scheduling your appointment.
Amelia currently accept the following insurances:
- Highmark PPO and most Highmark plans
- Capital Blue Cross
- Medicaid (MA; Access; CCBH)
- UPMC
- Student Health Resources (Penn State student insurance)
- Aetna
- Geisinger
Insurance eligibility confirmation may be requested prior to initial appointment or during the intake appointment.
Please note that many of the modalities offered are not covered by insurance. There are additional fees outside of insurance coverage for neurofeedback, SSP, and other device rentals.
All payments and co-pays are required at time of service. Deductibles and co-insurances are billed with payment expected within 30 days.
Neurofeedback fees
Neurofeedback is an add-on fee of $40/session. With insurance coverage, most clients pay $60 per session.
We currently have sessions run by a technician. This allows clients to have more than one session a week and helps clients who are not in network with insurance. The cost of a technician session is $50/session.
SSP Pricing
Remote SSP Access $325
- Price includes access for the core 5 hour listening program
- Any session time will be billed to insurance. Co-pays and deductibles will apply
- Listening may be a hybrid of in office, remote, or independent listening
- If we decide you would benefit from another round of SSP Core, the cost would be reduced to $175 to access the 5 hours of Core
Balance Membership $175/3 months
- Continue to benefit from SSP by accessing the balance program at home and on demand
- May renew every three months up to one year
Rental Devices
If it is determined during your treatment that you would benefit from one of the adjunct at-home devices, we will then discuss pricing for rental of the devices suggested. Rentals are for 2-3 weeks at a time depending on the device.
